Doors must be stored laying down on pallets (not standing or leaning against walls).
A maximum of 2.5mm may be trimmed off the edge strips of the doors (=5mm off height and 5mm off width).
The door frame must be built in ‘True Square’ without wind for correct door installation.
The fire door supplied to suit this frame (once fitted) must have a maximum of 10mm clearance between the underside of the door and finished floor and a maximum of 3mm between the sides and top of the door and the frame.
Variations in colour, grain or texture are natural variations of timber. These variations are not to be considered a defect of the PLY or MDF.
The entire door, including the top and bottom rails must be painted after fitting and before hanging. This requires 2 x coats of sealer or oil based primer. We recommend semi gloss paint be used for the top or finishing coat.
Won-Door will not be held responsible if doors become defective because of failure to follow the directions outlined above.
All doors are supplied as blanks and do not include hardware, installation or tagging. Blank tags and a Certificate of Compliance can be supplied when a ‘Compliance Details Check List’ has been completed, signed and returned to Won-Door.
